The Aoyue soldering stations for lead-containing solder, are the classic soldering irons, respectively the adjustable stations. Lead free tin-solder can be found in all stations manufactured after 2006. Due to the special attributes of the lead free solder special soldering tips and a fast temperature control are needed in comparison with the simple soldering irons. The standard soldering iron suffices for hobby soldering and for lead free soldering. |
